Here we go again, Micky Booth deliveries for 2020 start again this week!
Time to fill up the fruit bowl with fresh, seasonal fruits.
I gave my suppliers a call a couple of days ago to check in with what’s around.
Still plenty of stone fruits (peaches, plums and nectarines) green grapes, cantaloupe, pineapple and passion fruit.
Apples are very late in the season, so only offering the pink lady and granny smith varieties. No pears until the William variety starts, which should be in a couple of weeks.
Pumpkin and beans are very expensive, so not offering beans, and only offering Butternut pumpkin.
