My local strawberry grower informs me that as the weather has settled down, the strawberries will be very good; 3 punnets for $8.90; 2 punnets for $6.80. Apparently, a few of the blueberry growers were evacuated from their farms last week due to the fires in Northern New South Wales. They lost a couple of days picking, but sounds like that are back on their farms, and supply of blueberries hasn't been affected too much. Still no peaches, just white or yellow nectarines. Last week for the … Read More

My favourite part of Thursday afternoon! My vegies fresh from the market today! They last so much longer then the supermarket- let alone the time it saves me every week! A year later still doing this!

I could not rate Micky Booth highly enough. I have been using him for the past 9 years & I couldn’t go back to the supermarket for my fruit & veg. The quality and freshness of the fruit and veg is far beyond the big giant supermarkets as it’s straight from the wholesaler (no cold storage) & it will last weeks in your fridge. Micky has always delivered on time & if for some reason something is unavailable he simply takes it off the price with a little note on the receipt-that’s customer service! Give it a go, you will taste the difference and won’t have any wastage ★★★★★ Google Review

Mangoes from the Northern Territory (Katherine) are available this week, as are yellow and white nectarines. I was planning on offering white peaches this week, but they were damaged by hail early last week. The fluctuating weather has not been good for local strawberries. My strawberry grower has advised me to give them a break this week, they may be available next week, depending on quality. Watermelon is also back on, pity it's not watermelon weather! This week's early bird coupon code … Read More
I tried a new season white peach at the market last Thursday, and was very impressed with the flavour. They are grown in Renmark, South Australia, are they are available for purchase this week. Last week's strawberries were the last of the Queensland ones, this week we're starting Victorian strawberries which are grown in the Yarra Valley. Nectarines shouldn't be far away, no parsnips or gold kiwi this week. This week's early bird coupon code for a 5% discount is: CC88 Have a great … Read More
