There is a massive shortage of quality tomatoes at the moment due to the effects of Cyclone Debbie in late March. The Bowen tomato crop (in Queensland) was wiped out, so supply is very short, and prices very high. Cherry Tomatoes are are better option for those that really want tomatoes.
