After a wonderful five week break, everything is ‘quickly’ getting back to normal. School’s back, the roads are busy again, and Micky Booth customers don’t have to buy ALL their fruit and veggies from the supermarket.
The Micky Booth batteries are re-charged ready for a twenty-fourth year.
There’s plenty of summer fruits still around. Nectarines, peaches, seedless grapes, cantaloupe, and new season william pears to name a few.
The big talk around the Wholesale Market is the cost of avocadoes. Last week they were quoting $100 for a tray of 23. Hoping the price retreats a little this week, as a retail price of $5 or $6 for a single avocado is a bit over the top.
Here we go again, hoping you hop on the Micky Booth Express for another year.
Cheers,
Michael
