The first of the new season apples have finally arrived, starting with the Royal Gala. New season Pink Lady apples are still weeks away, so any Pink Lady apples you see in the shops are old season and not worth buying.
So, only two apple varieties to choose from at the moment: Royal Gala and Granny Smith.
