At this time of the year, most of the strawberries and passion fruit sold in Melbourne are grown on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland.
Corn, iceberg lettuce, beans, capsicum and zucchinis are also grown in Queensland at this time of the year, as it is just too cold down here to grow those vegetables.
Locally grown fruit at this time of the year are: apples, oranges, mandarins and pears.
