The Queensland strawberries last week were bigger and better than I had expected. The grower has informed me that they will be just as good this coming week, so we are able to offer the same special as last week: 2 for $6 or 3 for $8.
I always buy hand picked beans as they last longer than the machine picked ones. The hand picked ones are very expensive at the moment, so will be buying the machine picked ones this week. You may or may not tell the difference. Just a warning that this week’s beans may not last as long, so use them within four or five days.
Probably the last week for the imperial mandarins, the next variety will be the “Afourer Mandarins” which will begin the week after.
